ProjectNINE has offered me, as well as many other youths in the community, many opportunities to engage in a variety of conversations. The conversations always continue to evolve. Whether it’s through reading, listening, writing and more, I am able to educate myself and find others with like minds. I am so thankful to be a part of such a tight-knit community where everyone builds each other up and goes beyond my limits. It is an experience that I continue to cherish and will never forget.

My volunteering experience at ProjectNINE International has been eye-opening due to how it differs from many of the other volunteering opportunities and experiences I have had the pleasure to take on. At ProjectNINE, there is a unique atmosphere where the entire organization has an eager, open perspective to new ideas and initiatives which empowers its creative volunteers to create new initiatives and events. The NINE volunteer experience has allowed me to bear witness to how powerful and influential open-minds are, especially in combination with creative-thinking and attentive ears who provide feedback that is not only helpful and critical but encouraging. This special atmosphere that conducts an electrifying encouragement throughout the organization’s members has led to me working on forming new collaboration-based events with other organizations to support different groups of people allowing me to be able to do what makes me the happiest and fulfil a core value at ProjectNINE; helping others. By volunteering with ProjectNINE International you can help youth around the globe today by opening up today’s conversations to youth to encourage and thus instil in them a drive for change.
