Hey guys! I'm Kitty and I'm very excited to join the ProjectNINE team this year not only as a volunteer but also as the Volunteer and Recruitment coordinator. In school, I have taken the roles of a few initiatives, like co-head of art council and social committee, as well as HTS TedEd Planning and Event Coordinator. I hope I can contribute my share to the NINE team and also meet some wonderful volunteers this year. I hope more people can join the NINE family and use it as a channel of distribution to express their passions and opinions with everyone else!

passion #1: art & fashion
Art and fashion are two things that have been in my life for a very long time. When I was younger, the two were just fun things that I enjoyed and did every day. Draw this and that, sew a button or look at magazines cause I couldn't read yet. However, as I got older I realized how expressive the two can be and how you can really convey a message through them. A variety of things could be expressed. Sustainability, Skyscraper (the Bruges Whale) by STUDIOKCA, Female Empowerment, Le Smoking by Yves Saint Laurent. These powerful messages were all communicated through art and fashion. They inspired me to make art meaningful and I'm currently working towards that, hoping to create something for the near future.
passion #2: lifestyle
My second passion is a bit unordinary and in fact, I had to search it up to see if it actually counts as a passion or not. My second passion is life or, to be more exact, a type of lifestyle that I aspire to have. Originally, I was gonna say business or marketing to be specific; however, I developed a passion and interest for marketing because I believe that it can bring me the type of lifestyle that I desire for the future. I'm passionate about life because I hope to make it meaningful for myself and possibly influence the ones around me or even reach a larger community. I'm passionate about making a meaningful life for myself. I have a blurry vision of what it could look like, however, I'm more excited and interested to see how it can be different from how I envisioned.
